Creative Sense Icons R2.0 by Mike Hopkins / digital.thought http://www.dthought.net/ January, 2010 Hello! I hope that you enjoy these icons. This archive contains icons suitable for both Mac OS X and Windows 7. They'll still work with XP, but you're stuck in the digital dark ages. Oh yes. If you have Mac OS X Leopard and Candybar (www.panic.com) installed, just use the handy-dandy .icontainer file. I've set up some of the Adobe CS3 application associations, however if you're using CS4 or the full Master Suite you'll need to likely add LightRoom, Soundbooth, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Flash and possibly Bridge as well manually. I'm not sure. See how you go. If you don't have Candybar, you can always use Get Info on each individual icon, select its thumbnail in the top left and use Copy / Paste to transfer the icons individually across to the applications themselves. If you're really tricky, you can dive inside the packages and replace the icon, but I'll leave that up to your discretion. On Windows, you can easily change the shortcut icons for your desktop by right clicking and choosing Properties, but you'd have to do a bit of resource hacking to replace the icons within the applications proper. I can't say I recommend this (and it could mess up software patches down the line), so you'll have to settle for shortcuts for the time being. Note that the Windows 7 taskbar, even when pinned, will swap out the application icon when it's running. Not much I can do about that. This set was published exclusively to http://dthought.deviantart.com/ and is only available from download for there (for the time being). Please do not redistribute this icon pack. If you want to link to it, grab the link to the page for these icons on DeviantArt. I also did a detailed writeup of why and how these icons came about, so if you're interested check it out at: http://beta.dthought.net/icon-sets/creative-sense/release-2/ Sadly though, the 3D models which make up the vast majority of the assets for these icons were lost in a computer upgrade along with all my other hobbyist modelling and texturing. Chances of updates or new icons are slim. This is also why Adobe Premiere is missing - it wasn't completed before the upgrade. Finally, these icons are free to distribute and may not be sold or charged for download. You may not use these icons commercially. All trademarks and registered trademarks belong to their respective owners. Oh, and don't try to pass these off as your own. Not unless you can somehow prove how you made them ;) Enjoy! - Mike
